The current Enviro range of buses incorporate EBS and ELC as standard*, further enhancing the safety and operation of your buses. Both systems are made by Knorr-Bremse and use the same diagnostic equipment and share information on the communications network which allows us to combine the two systems into one training course. Technicians will learn efficient and safe diagnostic techniques for fast and reliable fault finding, including function, location, testing and repair of components and use of diagnostic equipment.
This two day course can be attended by technicians involved in the maintenance and repair of EBS and ELC systems. Trainees will be encouraged to develop their understanding by participating in practical exercises and discussion throughout the course.
Trainees will learn to carry out all maintenance and repair procedures to the EBS and ELC systems using laptop based diagnostics and will be able to clear faults and confirm correct operation following installation of new components.

Classroom presentation using components for demonstration, identification and testing
• Digital multimeter skills to improve fault finding
• Practical assessment including pre-set faults on a bus
• Online / written assessment, 80% pass rate required.

* Enviro 200 EV BYD and Enviro 400 EV BYD are not compatible with this course.
