Multiplexing and CAN systems
This course relates to the body system fitted to the Major Model Change (MMC) diesel*
Our aim is to simplify Multiplexing, so that technicians of all levels will understand and be confident in their approach to fault-finding. Using the technical information provided in our service manuals and the powerful on-board diagnostic capability accessed via the dash interface, technicians will tackle system faults.
This course is aimed at competent technicians involved in the maintenance and repair of Alexander Dennis buses, in particular electrical or diagnostic specialists. Trainees will be encouraged to develop their understanding by participating in practical exercises and discussion throughout.
Assessments are used for each part of the course to help track progress and results can be provided to the employer, 80% pass rate required on assessment.
*These buses are identified by being Euro 6 diesel as standard and have physical dials on the instruments rather than the digital display seen on ADEPT architecture.
